A little flavour of Copenhagen at Ciclovia Belfast from Kaffe O

With only days until Ciclovia Belfast we have been busy finalising all the fantastic events and activities at the two hubs at Botanic Gardens and Belfast City Hall as well as along the route.  Our mission is to ensure that everyone benefits from Ciclovia Belfast. With this in mind we have been working with cafes, along the route, to encourage them to open for trading during Ciclovia Belfast as well as provide offers to Ciclovia Belfast participants.

We are delighted that one of the cafes, on Botanic Avenue, Kaffe O will provide a very special offer especially for Ciclovia Belfast – see featured image.  Kaffe O is a nordic inspired coffee shop, situated on the Ormeau Road & Botanic Avenue in Belfast. Their beans are roasted in Copenhagen by master roaster Ricco Sørensen. Serving  unique Coffee hand roasted in Copenhagen with a menu inspired by Scandinavia – all made on site using the freshest local produce and organic ingredients, where possible. They’re big believers in karma at the cafes…what you give is what you get, so all their takeaway cups, containers etc are fully compostable. They say they’re inspired by Copenhagen, made in Belfast.

Don’t forget that Ciclovia Belfast will run 0930 – noon with PSNI managing road closures and traffic diversions from 0900 – 1pm. If you don’t have a bike and need one, you can rent a bike from Belfast Bikes – there are two Belfast Bike docks on Botanic Avenue – one outside McClay Library and one just before Shaftesbury Square – visit www.belfastbikes.co.uk  for other locations.  Also, don’t forget that we would like to see all of your Ciclovia Belfast moments.  So make sure you facebook and tweet your photographs and videos using #CicloviaBelfast.  Finally, the Ciclovia Belfast route is your route to cycle whichever way you wish however we will have an official photo moment at 0930 with some special guests – so why not join us. We look forward to seeing you at Ciclovia Belfast.
